grouped to develop international experience in Denmark, Russia and
China. As 39 students signed up to China Program, the University of
Westminster had to draw lots to select 20 students.
The
study tour included workshops, enterprise visits, as well as social and
cultural activities so that the British students can better understand
China’s economy and culture. Workshopon Chinese Culture and Management, academic lectures, were held in Huanghua Lecture Hall. Some
knowledgeable professors gave comprehensive and profound speeches on
topics such as Chinese Consumer Behavior,
China Economic Development Issues and Corporate Social Responsibility
in China. The wonderful lectures gave the students new inspiration and
in-depth understanding of Chinese economy, which was extremely popular
among British MBA students.
After taking a series of theory courses and lectures, ZHONG Weihe, the President of GDUFS had a nice conversation with the
students. Then the Vice President SHI Youqi awarded the certificate of
graduation to the students one by one.

his warm welcome to the British MBA students and delivered a speech in
which he pointed out that the study tour features meticulously planned
periodic and many-sided learning pattern that enables fresh
international students to get an immediate access shortly to China’s
facts in a multi-level and an all-round way. The study tour especially
focuses on getting over the one-sided impressions and limited experience
of the international students, and leading them by any possibility to
objective cognition and rational analysis of the new culture and social
environment. At last, Dr. Susan Balint expressed gratitude to the warm reception, and shared her expectation for further cooperation and resource sharing.
From June 29th to 30th,
MBA students of Westminster Business School followed Dean Sun Jianjun
visited Dongguan, the world famous manufacturing city. It was the start
of a new journey called Explore Made-in-China Stories. Officials of several companies such as Guangdong East Power Co. Ltd.,
welcomed them with great hospitality and introduced the development of
Chinese manufacture in detail to the students. The visit was intended to
show them how "made in China" grow in the context of local culture and
history, what’s more, the difficulties they faced nowadays. However,
most students strongly believe that Chinese enterprises can successfully
make "made in China" earn a global reputation someday.

Cooperation Program Memo. It was reported that the two sides had reached
consensus on student exchange, cooperative research and mutual visits
of faculty, which would bring about common development and yield a
