In order to promote educational cooperation and international exchanges, the GDUFS MBA Education Center and Southern Newspaper Group provided exchange and learning opportunities for MBA students.  

This activity highlighted current hot economic topics in Guangdong Province, themed with business environment and sharing fascinating stories of Cantonese business through foreign media. MBA students could use new media technology (short video as the main tool, photography or cartoon was acceptable) to show Cantonese business culture, economic development and business environment in the Greater Bay Area, making the world learn more about China, the Greater Bay Area and Cantonese business through official foreign media.

One credit for International Exchange could be obtained by participating in this activity. These works would be exhibited in GDUFS and Guangzhou Opera House. Excellent works and core members of their team would possibly be selected by the Guangdong Provincial Foreign Publicity Department for the foreign exhibition.

Works could be picked from but not limited to following topics:

A. Guangzhou’s Trades with the World (Four Topics)

1. Revitalizing agriculture through products (green products, products with ethnic characteristics)

2. High-quality foreign products importing into Guangzhou (countries in RCEP or the Belt and Road Initiative)

3. Guangzhou products exporting to abroad (scientific and technological products, cultural products)

4. Digitalization of time-honored traditional enterprises

B. Innovative Technology

1-2 cases  new technology of online shopping vr.ar (ex. trying on new clothes)

Relevant Requirements:

1. The content should be positive and consistent with values of the mainstream media;

2. This activity was up to 60 places, only group registration, 8-10 people in a group;

3. The video file format: MP4. Its picture and sound should be clear. Subtitles were required, and its time should be about 140 seconds or 3-5 minutes;

4. Distinct themes and various forms were encouraged. All works must be original;

5. Works’ language: English.
