Ⅰ. Introduction to the Manchester Metropolitan University

 

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is a comprehensive public university in the United Kingdom, established in 1970. MMU welcomes over 300 visiting students each year from across the world. They offer a range of student exchange programs, from two weeks to 12 months. MMU has undergone a merger of colleges, some of which were established in the 19th century. The merger plan began on January 1st, 1970, when Manchester Colleges was formed from Manchester School of Art and Design, Manchester Business School and John Dalton Technical College. In 1992, Manchester changed from a college to a university, covering over 70 disciplines. There are five campuses located in Manchester and two more in Crewe Alsager and Cheshire. The University now has the following faculties: School of Art and Design, School of Health, Psychology and Social Care, Hollings College, School of Anthropology, Law and Social Sciences, School of Education, School of Business, MMU Cheshire, School of Science and Engineering.

 

I. Introduction to the Summer Program

According to the policy of our university to develop international education, during the summer vacation, GDUFS will select students to attend a three-week short-term exchange program at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.

The UK is a world leader in ensuring the quality of education. The student exchange program gives our students a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience life and study somewhere new, expand horizons, and can bring many benefits. 

1.Applicants and Quota:

All MBA alumni and students with no limit students.

2.Requirements for Applicants:

2.1. Physically healthy, mentally mature, free of undesirable habits, and have no record of violating laws, regulations or school rules.

2.2. Applicants shall have strong English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, be able to communicate smoothly and understand full English teaching.

2.3. Applicants shall meet the application requirements set by MMU.

3. Program Fee: (The following are the 2019 program fees for reference only, the specific program fees are subject to the release of the year)

RMB 18,990 (Include: academic lectures, university visits, cultural visits, transportation within the UK, airport transfers, accommodation, international travel insurance. Not include: visa fees.)

4. Duration of the Exchange Program:

Subject to the notice issued in the year
