Introduction of Student Exchange Program in ESC Clermont

Ⅰ. Introduction to ESC Clermont

Ranked one of the Top 100 business schools in the world, ESC Clermont is a sister school to GDUFS. It is a century-old school founded in 1919 under the Clermont-Ferrand Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Auvergne region. It is one of the 5% business schools in the world which has obtained international recognition of the AACSB accreditation since 2005. In February 2019, ESC Clermont's undergraduate program was accredited by EPAS, another international highest business school accreditation. It mainly focuses on master's education and vigorously develops undergraduate education. Over the years, ESC Clermont has been ranked in the top 100 in both FT and QS World Business School rankings. Clermont-Ferrand is a major city in south-central France and home to the global headquarters of Michelin Tires.

To promote educational cooperation and international exchanges, GDUFS cooperates with the ESC Clermont to provide students with special opportunities to study in France.

 

Ⅱ. Admission Requirements

1. Applicants must be official students who have studied for at least one semester in MBA Education Center, GDUFS; and have not yet graduated from the exchange program. In principle, at the official start date of the program, students must studied in school for more than one semester (including one semester, but excluding those who have completed credits in GDUFS before the start of the program) and have a bachelor's degree and graduation certificate of undergraduate.

2. During the study at GDUFS, applicants attendance of each course shouldn’t be less than 2/3. He/she who fails in no more than two course exams (the failure of make-up exams is counted as one course) is disqualified to apply for this program.

3. Applicants should have a good health, a mature mind, without bad habits and violation of laws, regulations and school rules.

4. All fees in GDUFS such as the tuition fees have been paid on time.

5. The applicant’s IELTS score should be higher than 6.0. The applicants should have strong English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and are able to engage in All-English teaching.

6. The applicants should meet other requirements of ESC Clermont.

Ⅲ. Tuition Fees

Exchange students are free of the tuition fee of the exchange institute, but need to afford other expenses. Exchange students do not need to pay the tuition fees of ESC Clermont, but need to pay the tuition fees of GDUFS MBA as usual, and are responsible for other expenses incurred in ESC Clermont, such as air tickets, accommodation and medical insurance, etc.

Two students per academic year (exchanging to ESC Clermont in Fall Semester)

One semester ( Approx. 4 months)
