On January 15, 2019, Gilles Rouet, Dean of the School of Advanced Management of the Université de Versailles, and François Goxe, Director of the International Exchange Division and the MBA & MIB Programs，and Marie-francoise Vannier, Coordinator of the International Exchange Division, visited our school. Dean of School of Business Zhu Wenzhong, Vice Deans Yuan Denghua, Xu Yiqing and supervisor of International Exchange Department of the MBA Education Center Yu Qianqian gave them a warm reception in Conference Room 402 of the MBA Education Center.
Two sides discussing cooperation
The seminar was presided over by Yuan Denghua. He first expressed a warm welcome to the visiting guests. Then, Zhu Wenzhong introduced the history, the settings of major, scientific research and international exchanges of GDUFS and the School of Business to the visiting guests. Zhu Wenzhong also mentioned that the MBA program of GDUFS had passed the AMBA certification in 2015, and had also passed the AMBA recertification in 2018. Currently, work on other certifications are carried on. The MBA program has already obtained the AACSB membership and now the work on CAMEA certification is carried out. At present, the School of Business has established cooperation with a total of 45 colleges and universities around the world. Zhu also expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Université de Versailles.
Subsequently, Gilles Rouet gave a brief introduction to the Université de Versailles. He mentioned that the Université de Versailles was founded in 1991 and the School of Advanced Management was established in 2010. He gave a basic introduction to the School of Advanced Management of the Université de Versailles. Around 80% of the students of the MBA program are foreign students, most of whom are from the Americas, Canada and Africa, as well as China. François Goxe mentioned that the Université de Versailles had cooperated with many universities in China such as Shanghai Jiaotong University on MIB and MBA programs. He also suggested that a series of cooperation between the two universities could be carried out through short-term study tours, seminars of industry trends, exchanges between teachers, online joint classes, international competitions or international conferences.
