Notification on Applying for the 12th Exchange Program of the ESC Rennes School of Business

With the aim to promote educational cooperation and international exchange, MBA Center, GDUFS has reached a cooperation agreement with Esc Rennes School of Business to provide a unique exchange opportunity in France for MBA students of SOB, GDUFS. And now the 12th program can be applied. 

A Brief on ESC Rennes School of Business

ESC Rennes School of Business is an exclusive Graduate School of Business in France to teach Management and Business in English and to grant international degree; It is one of the few elite Schools of Business in France to award  Ph.D. degree under the accreditation of the French Ministry of Education; It is one of the top international Schools of Business due to acquisition of triple  accreditation: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditation.(There are only 1% Schools of Business to acquire triple accreditation at the same time); Its Master in Management ranked the 23th among all the Master in Management around the world according to Financial Times in 2014; Its diploma has been recognized by the Ministry of Education of China.

The Executive MBA and International Business Negotiation majors in ESC Rennes School of Business rank the first in France (according to the French majors ranking published by the Le Moci on November 12, 2009). 

Here is the specific cooperation plan:

1. Cooperation Mode:

 (1) Publicly-funded Exchange Program

Quota: 1 student

Duration: 1 semester, from August of 2019 to February of 2020 (ESC Rennes School of Business has the final say about the duration)

Fee: Both parties are exempt from tuition fees, and other expenses are self-funded. Exchange students do not have to pay tuition fees in ESC Rennes School of Business, but they should pay tuition fees in MBA, GDUFS as usual. They should bear other expenses incurred in the country where the exchange college is located such as airfare, accommodation, medical insurance fee and other expenses.

 (2) Self-funded dual degree program

Quota: 1 student in 2018

Tuition fee: 29,000 euro (ESC Rennes School of Business has the final say about the tuition fee and explanation) 

Duration: about 15 months

Note: Publicly-funded Exchange student who wants to apply for the dual degree program should pay about 17,000 euro.

2. Application Requirements

 (1).Applicants should be official students of MBA, GDUFS. In principle, they are also supposed to have studied for more than one semester (including one semester) at GDUFS before the beginning of the project; 

(2).The attendance rate of each course should be no less than2/3.  He/she should fail no more than two course exams (the failure of make-up exams is not included).

 (3).The tuition fee and other fees have been paid;

 (4). Applicants are healthy, mentally mature, staying away from bad habits and from violating laws and school regulations; 

(5). Applicants are skilled in advanced English listening and speaking;

 (6).Applicants should conform to the application requirements specified by the foreign cooperation institute.

 

3. Registration time

Deadline:  At 12A.M. on April 3, 2018

Applicants will be interviewed by SOB, GDUFS after registration and preliminary review. And those who pass the interview can study in France.

Note: Applicants are supposed to read the training scheme carefully and to arrange their own domestic courses properly. It is necessary to make sure that if they want to apply for the MBA degree of GDUFS, they should complete the compulsory courses and the corresponding elective courses, or the courses they study abroad can be converted into the above-mentioned domestic courses. Otherwise, they cannot write the dissertation and apply for the degree.

4. Special Notice

 (1) Applicants should pay all the tuition fees in MBA Center, GDUFS before handing in application materials, otherwise the MBA Center is entitled to refuse to issue all the required certifications.

 (2). Applicants are supposed to confirm whether they have sufficient time and energy to participate in the program before the registration. If they waive the participation for any reason after registration, the MBA Education Center of SOB has the right to cancel all the certifications of international projects the student has registered in GDUFS according to the International Project Management Regulations of MBA Education Center, SOB
