Ⅰ. Introduction of Program

1. Study Tour School:

Kobe University

 

Formally established in 1949, Kobe University is a national university based in western Japan. Its roots date back further, to 1902, when it was originally known as Kobe Higher Commercial School. Today, Kobe University is one of Japan’s leading comprehensive universities with 10 faculties and schools, 15 graduate schools and a great number of research centers and institutions.

MUJI

 

Established in the 1980s, MUJI upholds the corporate philosophy of producing simple and comfortable low-priced products by rationalizing the production process of its products. By removing superfluous ingredients from its products, MUJI conveys a simple and quiet philosophy of life to consumers and highlights the brand's distinctive features.

Aburi Mochi Ichiwa

 

Established in the Heian period (1000 A.D.), Aburi Mochi Ichiwa is the oldest confectionery store in Japan. Aburi Mochi Ichiwa is one of the seven companies with a history of more than 1,000 years in Japan.

Aburi Mochi Ichiwa is located in Imamiya Shrine, Kita-ku, Kyoto. Ichiwa's rice cakes are made by the same ancient method that has been used since the beginning of the business, and "Ichiwa" has been running this old store in front of Imamiya Shrine for generations.The owner Hasegawa, the 25th generation of ICHIWA, will introduce the historical development of ICHIWA, their relentless pursuit and the ultimate craftsmanship in Japan.

Ⅱ. Application Requirements

In order to further broaden the international vision and enrich the international experience of MBA students, the MBA Center plans to send excellent students to Japan for a program under the theme of “Demystifying the management of century-old Japanese enterprises”. The relevant arrangements are listed as follows:

1.Applicants and Quota:

All MBA alumni and students, altogether 20 students.

2. Requirements for applicants:

(1) Students who are well-conducted with good manner and overall quality.

(2) Students who have earnest attitude towards learning, good grades, and a certain degree of English listening and speaking ability.

3. Program Fee:(The following are the 2019 program fees for reference only, the specific program fees are subject to the release of the year)

RMB 25,000 (including airport transfer,transportation fee for the study tour and accommodation, transportation for courses, meals, visits and group activities involved in the trip. not including airfare, visa, insurance, dinner and some breakfast,lunch, attractions tickets and personal expenses, etc.)

3. Duration of the Program:

7-10 days
