Speaker Profile:

Prof. SUI Guangjun received his Ph.D. in Economics in 1996 from Jinan University Guangzhou and has been full professor of economics since 1997 and doctoral supervisor since 2000.

He holds a number of other academic or governmental positions among which are member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guangdong Province, member of the National Steering Committee for Business Administration Education of the Ministry of Education, Executive Vice President of the Chinese Industrial Economic Association, and Vice President of Guangdong Society of Economics.

His main research interests include industrial economics, innovation and risk management, and strategic management. He has been principal investigator of four national social science projects, authored over ten academic monographs and over 90 academic papers.
