Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS, also known as Guangwai), located in Guangzhou, is a key university in the construction of high-level education in Guangdong Province. Internationalization of Accreditation

GWMBA continues to advance the internationalization strategy and sticks to a progressive developmental path by accreditation to promote internal development with international characteristics. We have successfully gained the AMBA Accreditation in 2015, BGA Gold Accreditation in 2021, CAMEA Accreditation qualification in 2017, and has won AMBA & BGA Excellence Award in 2023.

Internationalization of Faculty

We have an internationalized faculty of more than 60 teachers from 10 countries worldwide. Among them, 100% have oversea experience for study, visiting or work, 20% are reputable scholars at home and abroad, and 2 are the high-end talents conferred by the Ministry of Education. The globalized business talent cultivation model has won the First Prize for Achievements awarded by the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the First and Second Prizes of the Teaching Achievements of Guangdong Province for a number of times. The MBA New Vision Lecture has held more than 80 English lectures by internationally renowned scholars.

Internationalization of Cultivation

GWMBA program collaborates deeply with nearly 50 foreign universities in terms of double-degree program, exchange program, short-term visiting and academic research. GWMBA won the Silver Prize in the 7th BRICS Business Schools Alliance Student Conference and the Second Prize in the 2nd National Entrepreneurship Competition for Foreign Language and Foreign Trade Colleges and Universities. GWMBA actively promotes education programs featured with the Great Bay Area, continuously holding the exchange projects for faculty members and students between mainland and Hong Kong & Macau SAR. Requirements for Scholarship Application

❖ The applicant should abide by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and comply with rules and regulations of GDUFS.   

❖ International students should have registered in GDUFS with X1-Visa or X2-Visa, paid off their tuition fees and bought international student insurance as required; Within 30 days after entering China’s mainland, the applicant should have filled in the Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors, and obtained their study visa or residence permits. Moreover, the applicant should have filled in the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners as requested by Inspection and Quarantine Department of the People’s Republic of China.

❖ The quota of scholarship available is subject to the actual number of registered students.

An applicant is not qualified for scholarship application under the circumstances below:

❖ The applicant is punished for violating the laws and regulations of China, or the rules and regulations of GDUFS. The applicant brought negative impact or great loss to his/her class, MBA Education Center, SoB or GDUFS.

❖ The applicant is during suspension of schooling, or his/her student status is in reservation for the application term.

❖ The applicant does not pay tuition fees on time.

❖ The applicant does not apply for or handle immigration procedures and visa as requested.

❖ The applicant cheats during the scholarship application process.

❖ The applicant has the records of failure in examinations.

❖ The applicant violates relevant rules of teaching administration in MBA education center, such as attendance, school assignment, etc.
