On the morning of April 10, leader of EMBA program from ESC-Rennes School of Business Professor Irena DESCUBES and program promotion directors of Representative Office for Central and Western China YANG Bei and SUN Li visited School of Business (SOB), GDUFS. Vice Dean of SOB XU Yiqing, Director of MBA Center, GDUFS WANG Gang and Supervisor of International Affairs of MBA Center, GDUFS YU Qianqian received them in Conference Room 349 of the MBA Education Center.

At the beginning, on behalf of SOB, XU Yiqing expressed a warm welcome to the delegates of ESC Rennes School of Business. Then Xu gave an introduction to SOB and MBA Center, and illustrated the major settings and international development of them. After that she introduced some basic information of the international construction of SOB. She proposed that after being a partner of ESC Rennes for a long time, we hoped to have more opportunities for deep cooperation on international projects with them.

After that, Irena DESCUBES and YANG Bei introduced the internationalization of ESC Rennes. They illustrated that with triple accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, ESC RENNES ranks relatively high among French business schools. In Masters in Finance Rankings 2018, ESC RENNES was in 24th place globally, and 7th place in France.

The two parties conducted in-depth discussion and reached a preliminary intention on the issues concerning the settings of curriculum and scholarship in programs including Exchange Program, Joint-degree Program, Short-Term Study Abroad Program and EDP progams.

Based in Rennes, ESC Rennes, with accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, is known as Crown Institute, a name shared with only 1% of Business Schools worldwide. ESC Rennes makes itself one of the world's top business schools with the triple accreditation and is acknowledged by the French government with the name of Grande École of business management, which is given to only 38 schools among over 200 business schools in France for educating elite students.

In terms of International ranking, the school's Master in Management program ranked 35th in Financial Times Masters in Management 2016, while its MSc in International Finance program was in the 24th place in Financial Times Masters in Finance Pre-experience, where the school ranked 32th and 45th on the list in 2017 and 2016 respectively.

Rennes, located in a well-developed area, is one of the most liveable cities in France. It is a college town for over 60,000 students studying and living here, accounting for a quarter of the city's population. Since its founding in 1990, ESC-Rennes has continued to carry out international construction and achieved outstanding results in the past 13 years. Compared with other business schools in France, it has been the one that climbs fastest in the rankings: In 2013, it ranked 16th in France, 7th in 2016 (tied with another school), and 11th in 2018, while ranking high in terms of internationalization and popularity among students.
