On January 19, the School of Business held the 2017 Mid-level Party Member Leaders' Democratic Meeting at Room 317 of the Administrative Building on the South Campus. Focused on the theme,school leaders and members carefully examined the problems and shortcomings in ideals and beliefs, political discipline, responsibility, honesty and self-discipline, analyzed the reasons in depth, proposed practical rectification measures, and carried out serious criticism and self-criticism. Sui Guangjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of GDUFS attended the meeting.

Secretary Sui Guangjun carefully listened to the inspection report of the school's party members. He believed that the leaders' team of School of Business is a team of unity, harmony, energy, and responsibility and fully affirmed the work and efforts of the members of School of Business. And he made some requirements for party building, discipline construction and characteristic development to the School of Business: First, we must firmly grasp the ideological leadership and discourse power, strengthen ideological and political education for teachers and students, and continue to give full play to the leading role of party committee in party building. Second, we must take the opportunity of optimizing the distribution of disciplines, turn pressure into motive force, transform challenges into opportunities and make overall plans for the development of colleges and universities as early as possible. Third, we must creatively conduct talent training, firmly follow the connotative development path, strictly control teaching quality so as to form our distinctive features, and boost the construction of international distinctive high-level university.
