Experts first held a talk with Jiao Fangtai, Yuan Quan and Zhu Wenzhong at the Conference Room 308 of the MBA Education Center of SOB. Jiao Fangtai first expressed warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all the experts present. Then he introduced the basic situation and strategic positioning of GDUFS. Jiao Fang also emphasized to the experts that the university attaches great importance to and supports CAMEA of SOB. Experts held talks with the three leaders on issues related to CAMEA and MBA program development.

The inspection was mainly carried out at the Conference Room 402 of the MBA Education Center of SOB. While introducing the CAMEA, Lei Xinghui emphasized that conducting CAMEA is in line with the requirements of national strategic development, which is conducive to improving the external quality assurance system, improving the quality of professional degree training and safeguarding education sovereignty. At the same time, continuous improvement process through the certification will help improve the quality of the MBA program. He also elaborated on the organizational structure, certification standards and certification process of the CAMEA.

Zhu Wenzhong introduced the development history of the SOB, explained the mission, vision and values of SOB, and made reports on the various achievements made by SOB in recent years, especially the specific features of internationalization. In the end, he proposed future development ideas of SOB in the following aspects: strengthening the construction of a talent team and building a platform, consolidating the building of practice bases, innovating the MBA collaborative training model, creating a famous teacher class to enlarge brand influence, and implementing the international cooperation promotion plan.

Yuan Denghua first introduced the development history and organization structure of the MBA program of GDUFS. Centering on the willingness and mission of the MBA program, he made reports which focused on building two platforms, refining two features, building two systems, and adhering to two orientations.

In the afternoon, accompanied by Zhu Wenzhong, Yuan Denghua, Ding Hao and other leaders of SOB, the experts inspected teaching facilities such as reading rooms, classrooms, laboratories, and case rooms of the MBA Education Center and heard Zhu Wenzhong’s introduction to library resources and shared laboratories. In the teacher representative seminar, the experts had in-depth exchanges with eight teachers of MBA, including Yang Xiaoyan, Zhang Xinggui, An Fansuo, Zhang Wubao, Han Yonghong, Huang Lei, Zeng Yuran and Jia Jia. Afterwards, the experts specially talked with the internal management staff and employees of the MBA program.

After the inspection, the experts gave a summary and feedback on the site inspection. Lei Xinghui pointed out in the overall evaluation that although the history of GDUFS’ MBA education is not long, it has accumulated rich experience in education and teaching and has an internationalized teacher team with a high theoretical level. The MBA’s project management process and system are complete and boasts a high-quality and dedicated management team. Lei Xinghui emphasized the distinctive features, positioning and vision of SOB and expressed his recognition of GDUFS’ great emphasis on the development of business sector. At the same time, he also put forward professional and impartial suggestions on the rethinking of the characteristics of internationalization, the steady expansion of the scale, and the development of the course group and teaching materials.

On behalf of GDUFS, Jiao Fangtai thanked the experts for their guidance. He pointed out that the opinions of experts are very instructive and pertinent, and at the same time provide good solutions to the problem. Jiao Fangtai also instructed SOB leaders to seriously digest and absorb experts' opinions and suggestions, speed up the implementation of related issues and rectification work. Zhu Wenzhong, on behalf of SOB, extended his gratitude to the experts for their professional and impartial guidance, and expressed his attitude that they would adopt experts’ opinions and follow the principle of “developing through evaluating”, do a good job of implementation, and fully promote the work of high-quality MBA education certification in China.

Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA）started in 2012, and was co-organized by China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) and China National MAB Education Supervisory Committee (CNMESC). CAMEA is currently the first professional degree education certification in China. The certification secretariat is located in the Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center. The certification is based on the principle of adhering to high quality, steady progress, openness and international cooperation, with the purpose of promoting the continuous improvement of the MBA education quality in China. At present, management/business schools of 19 universities including Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing University, and Renmin University of China have obtained this certification.
