On May 16th, the mobile class of Corporate Finance Management of GSB was launched in the Center for Teaching and Research of Gaming of Macau Polytechnic Institute. Led by Professor Jiang Yong and Doctor Ding Hao, the mobile class is the first one launched in Macau. Forty students from Class 13A and 13B attended the activity. The whole delegation was received by Director Zheng Miaoxian of the Center.

At the meeting room of the Center, the students first watched the promotion video so as to have a basic understanding of MPI. The addresser Doctor Liu Shuang explained the history of Macau, definition of gambling and history of gaming industry and the current problems of Macau’s gaming industry. In addition, Liu guided the audience to ponder on the relationship between the gaming industry and the financial market.

Afterwards, students were shown around to the simulation casino, teaching platform of gaming and achievement show of gaming teaching and research center so as to tangibly feel the development of Macau’s gaming industry and gaming talent as well as contemplate on problems such as economic diversification of Macau and regional economic cooperation between Hong Kong and Guangdong Province.

This mobile class has immensely enriched knowledge and broadened horizon of the students and deepened communication between GSB and overseas universities, providing new thought for the development and design of GSB’s mobile class.
