On May 26, the opening ceremony of the Training Program of Public Administration and Leadership Building was held at the No.9 Teaching Building of GDUFS. This program, hosted by the organization department of the Guangdong provincial Party committee and organized by GDUFS, was designed as a preliminary course for the provincial government officials’ training in the US.

On behalf of the university, Sui Guangjun, Party Secretary of GDUFS, extended warm welcome to the trainees. He believed that it was a rare opportunity for the trainees who spare time from their busy schedules to study at home and abroad. He made the commitment that GDUFS would provide full support to this program.

Zhang Hui, on behalf of the organization department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, expressed welcome to the trainees and gave an introduction to the background of this program.

Liu Zhiwei, head of the inspection group in Guangdong and monitor of this training program, made a speech on behalf of the trainees. He pledged that he would do his utmost to serve the class.

All trainees will have a five-day preliminary training course in GDUFS. Then they will go to Yale University to attend the seminar for about a month. The preliminary training course is organized by organization department of the GDUFS Party committee, GSB and Department of Overseas Studying Training.
