On April 16, led by Pan Wenqing, Party Secretary of the School of Economics & Management, South China Normal University, a delegation group of 11 people visited GSB and exchanged views with their GSB counterparts. The exchange meeting was held in Room 404 of the ninth teaching building. The guests were received by Dean Sun Xiaoqin, Vice Dean Zeng Yuran, Vice Dean Yuan Denghua, Assistant to the Dean Miao Lei and Office Director Xu Yiqing. The two parties exchanged views on assessment of their MBA programs.

The MBA program of GDUFS passed the teaching qualification assessment in 2011. During the meeting, Vice Dean Zen Yuran shared GDUFS’s experience in this respect.

Dean Sun mentioned that the excellent performance of GDUFS’s MBA program in the assessment is highly relevant to GSB’s orientation and characteristics. She also pointed out the problems and challenges facing GSB and shared relevant measures for improvement. Later, she talked about the status quo and prospect of the newly developed MBA programs in China.

The two schools carried out exchanges on classification of documents, improvement of teaching facilities and organization of meetings where teachers and students can get their voices heard.

At last, Pan extended gratitude to GSB of GDUFS for its warm reception and experience sharing. He said that GSB has much experience to offer, and he learnt a lot through this visit. He also looked forward to strengthening cooperation between SCNU and GDUFS.
