Representatives from Manchester Metropolitan University, Bangor University and University of Derby came to GSB to discuss cooperation projects on March 26 and 27. Dean Sun Xiaoqin, assistant to the dean Jiang Yong and Director for International Affairs Zhang Lu attended the meeting.

On the afternoon of March 26, Dean Sun met with Myszka Guzkowska, the Vice President of Manchester Metropolitan University, giving an introduction of GSB, GDUFS. Jiang noted that GSB of GDUFS was listed as one of Top Ten Business Schools with Features in 2012 due to its English instruction, internationalized faculty and sound management system. Guzkowska also gave an introduction of Manchester Metropolitan University. Then the two parties exchanged views on the program of DBA.

On the afternoon of March 27, Program Manager with University of Derby Yu Nannan and Representative for East Asia of Bangor University Li Bing were invited to GSB,GDUFS with the company of Jin Lian, official of Consulate General of the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Guangzhou. The British side and GSB reached initial censensus on cooperations of DBA and distance learning. Besides, Li expressed the wish to conduct cooperation with GSB, GDUFS in the financial sector.

At last, all parties showed the will to keep in close touch with each other in the future, conduct further discussion on the details of cooperation and carry out cooperation as soon as possible.
