On the morning of March 24, Professor Horst Brezinski and Professor Johannes Stephan from Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg visited GSB, GDUFS. Assistant to the dean Jiang Yong and Director for International Affairs Zhang Lu attended the meeting and discussed the cooperation on international programs with their German counterparts.

At first, Jiang introduced the educational philosophy of “Global Vision” and “English Instruction” and the value of “SMILE” (Social responsibility, Mutual respect, Integrity, Learning by doing and Enthusiasm). Professor Brezinski and Professor Stephan also gave an introduction of Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg.

The two sides discussed and reached initial consensus on the exchange programs, the joint-degree program and the short-term visiting program to Poland with Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg. Professor Brezinski said that the Chinese students are welcome to study in Germany. Jiang looked forward to more diversified exchanges between the two universities and hoped that students could get a deeper understanding of the business operation mode in Europe while experiencing the European culture.

After the meeting, Jiang showed delegates the teaching facilities of GSB of GDUFS and took a group photo.
