In order to enrich students’ entertainment life, give full play to students’ teamwork spirit, and enhance exchanges and emotions among schools, the first match of the long-awaited Guangzhou MBA Basketball League Matches was held at the basketball field of GDUFS. Basketball players from 7 famous MBA universities, including Sun Yat-Sen University, South China University of Technology, Ji’nan University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangdong University of Technology, South China Normal University, and Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, gathered in the basketball field to show their strength. The basketball players actively prepared for the match, while the cheerleaders were enthusiastic in encouraging the players, with cheers and shouts kindling the atmosphere. Besides, with the logistical support of the support crew, the impartiality and justice of the referee, and the careful watching of the audience, all the players did their best in the spirit of “friendship first, competition second”.

After fierce competition, Team A composed by Ji’nan University and South China Normal University won the first victory, and South China University of Technology of Team B also scored its first victory in the group phase. Although they were close outside the field, the players raced each other without giving up any chance of scoring goals. Such a kind of teamwork spirit  was worthy of learning by all audience.

The basketball game not only enriched students’ extracurricular life, but also ignited their enthusiasm and confidence for sports. It not only showed the unique charm of basketball, but also exhibit MBA students’ vibrant feel. It not only reflected the entrepreneurship advocated by the MBA Education Center, but also implemented the SMILE value (Social responsibility, Mutual respect, Integrity, Learning by doing, Enthusiasm) of MBA of GDUFS, which enhanced students’ friendship and cultivated the teamwork spirit.
